The Chicago White Sox are a professional baseball team in Major League Baseball (MLB) based in Chicago, Illinois. The White Sox compete in the American League (AL) Central division along with the Cleveland Indians, Detroit Tigers, Kansas City Royals and Minnesota Twins. Their main rivalry outside of their division is with their crosstown neighbors, the Chicago Cubs. The team plays its home games at Guaranteed Rate Field in Chicago.
Guaranteed Rate Field opened in 1991 as Comiskey Park and has also been known as US Cellular Field. The ballpark is open-air, with a capacity of 40,615. Besides the White Sox it has also hosted College Football and major concert such as Chance the Rapper, Bruce Springsteen and The Rolling Stones.
