The Cleveland Indians are a professional baseball team in Major League Baseball (MLB) based in Cleveland, Ohio. The Indians compete in the American League (AL) Central division along with the Chicago White Sox, Detroit Tigers, Kansas City Royals and Minnesota Twins. Their main rivalry outside of their division is with their interstate neighbors, the Cincinnati Reds. It is known as the Battle of Ohio or Buckeye Series and features the Ohio Cup trophy for the winner. The team plays its home games at Progressive Field in Cleveland.
Progressive Field opened as Jacobs Field in 1994. The ballpark is open-air, with a capacity of 34,788. Besides the Indians it has also hosted College Hockey and major concert such as Jimmy Buffett, Billy Joel and Blake Shelton.
