The Detroit Tigers are a professional baseball team in Major League Baseball (MLB) based in Detroit, Michigan. The Tigers compete in the American League (AL) Central division along with the Chicago White Sox, Cleveland Indians, Kansas City Royals and Minnesota Twins. The team plays its home games at Comerica Park in Detroit.
Comerica Park opened in 2000. The ballpark is open-air, with a capacity of 41,083. Besides the Tigers it has also hosted the MLB All-Star Game, as well as International Soccer Matches such as Paris Saint-Germain vs Roma in the International Champions Cup tournament.
Detroit’s food scene is growing every day, but there’s a few dishes you must try in the Motor City. For Square Pizza hit up Buddy’s Pizza, Niki’s Pizza, or Jet’s (even though it’s round). You must also taste some pierogi (Polish sautéed dumplings) at Polish Village Cafe.
