The St. Louis Cardinals are a professional baseball team based in St. Louis Missouri. They started out as the St. Louis Perfectos when it was enfranchised in 1882. The club joined the National League in 1892, which also includes their bitterest rival, the Chicago Cubs. Their rivalry is called the Route 66 rivalry or The I-55 rivalry. The rivalry is one the biggest in Major League Baseball. St. Louis Cardinals plays in the NL Central division, which they dominate with the most division championships.
Their home field is Busch Stadium, also call referred to as the New Busch Stadium. This is their 4th ballpark and the third to bear the name ’Busch Stadium’. It opened in 2006 with an exhibition match between two affiliates of St. Louis Cardinals. The stadium also cater to professional soccers, hockey, college football and has hosted U2’s 360 Degree tour in 2011, Ed Sheeran’s ÷ Tour in 2018 amongst and more.
