The Atlanta Braves are a professional baseball team in Major League Baseball (MLB) based in Atlanta, Georgia. The Braves compete in the National League (NL) East division along with the Miami Marlins, New York Mets, Philadelphia Phillies and Washington Nationals. The team plays its home games at SunTrust Park in Atlanta Metropolitan community of Cumberland .
SunTrust Park opened in 2017. The ballpark is open-air, with a capacity of 41,084. Besides the Brave’s it has also hosted College Football games such as NCAA Division I Football Championship and major concert including Def Leppard, Metallica and Billy Joel.
Atlanta boasts a thriving and diverse culinary scene.
