The Miami Marlines are a professional baseball team in Major League Baseball (MLB) based in Miami, Florida. The Marlins compete in the National League (NL) East division along with the Atlanta Braves, New York Mets, Philadelphia Phillies and Washington Nationals. The team plays its home games at Marlins Park in Miami.

Marlins Park opened in 2012. The ballpark has a retractable roof with a capacity of 36,742.  Marlins Park features an Aquatic home plate backstop, the Clevelander Bar (more like a nightclub!) a swimming pool, a Bobblehead museum and many works of art around the stadium. Besides the Marlins it has also hosted the MLB All-Star game, The World Baseball Classic, College Football games such as the Miami Beach Bowl, International soccer matches and major concerts including DJ Khaled, Beyoncé and Guns N’ Roses.

Miami has a burgeoning food scene heavily inspired by Latin and Caribbean influences. Hot Restaurants include Swan and Bar Bevy and Fiola but there are also tons of staples such as La Camaronera, Rio Cristal, and Shorty’s which should not be missed
