The Cleveland Cavaliers, a.k.a. The Cavs, are a professional basketball team in the National Basketball Association (NBA) based in Cleveland, Ohio. The Cleveland Cavaliers compete in the Eastern Conference Central Division along with Chicago Bulls, Detroit Pistons, Indiana Pacers, and Milwaukee Bucks. In recent years they’ve developed a rivalry with the Golden State Warriors when they met in the first of four consecutive NBA Finals, from 2015 to 2018.

The Cleveland Cavaliers play their home games at the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland, which opened in October 1994, replacing Richfield Coliseum as the Cavaliers’ home arena. When the arena first opened it was named the Gund Arena after former owner Gordon Gund. It was renamed Quicken Loans Arena in August 2005, when the naming rights were bought by Quicken Loans owner, Dan Gilbert. Its most recent name change was in April 2019 to what it’s now known as, the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse, named after Quicken Loans’ online service for mortgage lending.

The arena has a capacity of 19,432, which makes it one of NBA’s largest arenas. Besides being the home arena for The Cleveland Cavaliers, it has been used to host professional wrestling matches, U.S. Figure Skating Championships, and hosts many concerts and shows varying from Celine Dion to the Jurassic World Live Tour.

When you’re in Cleveland you want to miss these famous food spots. Slyman’s Corned Beef sandwiches,  Pierogi from Sokolowski’s University Inn and Polish Boy sandwiches from Hot Sauce Williams. For dessert try the ever famous Jack Frost Donuts.
