The Detroit Pistons are the pride of Detroit, Michigan as they have been competing for their hometown since 1941, they won two early National Basketball League championships in 1944 and 1945. The Pistons are currently part of the NBA competing in the NBA’s Eastern Conference Central Division. Throughout their career, the team has won three national NBA Championships against their rivals: the Bulls, the Cavaliers, the Pacers, the Lakers, the Celtics, the Heat, and the Bucks.
The Little Caesars Arena in Midtown Detroit is the home of the Pistons. The arena is one of the newer arenas, as it was just opened in September of 2017. The Pistons share the arena with their athletic brothers; The Detroit Red Wings of the National Hockey League. This arena has been hosted to many entertaining sporting events, including the 2018 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball games, the 2017 UFC 218, the 2019 Figure Skating Championships, WWE Events, and Esports events. The Little Caesars Arena has also hosted many genres of musical performers including Pink, Kid Rock, Carrie Underwood, Demi Lovato, The Eagles, Janet Jackson and the Game of Thrones Live Concert Experience in October 2018.
