The Memphis Grizzlies are a professional basketball team in the National Basketball Association (NBA) based in Memphis, Tennessee. The Memphis Grizzlies compete in the Western Conference Southwest Division along with San Antonio Spurs, Houston Rockets, New Orleans Pelicans, and the Dallas Mavericks. The Memphis Grizzlies have three major rivalries with Los Angeles Clippers, Oklahoma Thunder, and San Antonio Spurs.

The Memphis Grizzlies play their home games at the FedExForum in Memphis, which opened in 2004. Their previous homes have been the General Motors (GM) Place in Vancouver, when they were known as the Vancouver Grizzlies from 1995, and the Pyramid Arena when they moved to Memphis and became the Memphis Grizzlies in 2001. The FedExForum has a capacity of 18,119 when hosting basketball games, and is used to host the University of Memphis’ NCAA Division I men’s basketball program. The arena has hosted ice hockey games, UFC, boxing, and wrestling matches, and the Professional Bull Riders’ Built Ford Tough Series. You can also catch many concerts here ranging from Lucie Silvas to Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band. In 2010 a memorial service was held here for former Memphis Grizzlies player, Lorenzen Wright.
