The Pittsburgh Steelers are a professional American football team in the National Football League (NFL) based in Pittsburgh Steelers. The Steelers compete in the American Football Conference (AFC) North division along with the Cincinnati Bengals, Cleveland Browns, and Baltimore Ravens. Rivalries outside of their division are with the Oakland Raiders, Dallas Cowboys, Denver Broncos, New England Patriots and Tennessee Titans. The team plays its home games at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh.
Heinz Field opened in 2001. The stadium is open-air, with a capacity of 68,400. Besides the Ravens, it is the home to the University of Pittsburgh Panthers. It has also hosted the NHL Winter Classic, International soccer and major concerts such as Garth Brooks, U2 and Guns N’ Roses.
Pittsburgh has a fabulous food scene. You must, however, visit some staples such as the Primanti Bros. for a sandwich, Pierogi at the S&D Polish Deli and the the Gobblerito at Mad Mex.
