The Jacksonville Jaguars are a professional American football team in the National Football League (NFL) based in Jacksonville, Florida. The Jaguars (or Jags) compete in the American Football Conference (AFC) South division along with the Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts, and Tennessee Titans. Other rivalries outside of their division are with the Miami Dolphins, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Carolina Panthers and Pittsburgh Steelers. The team plays its home games at TIAA Bank Field in Jacksonville.
TIAA Bank Field opened in 1995 as Jacksonville Municipal Stadium and has also been known as Alltel Stadium and EverBank Field. The stadium is an open air stadium with a capacity of 67,814 (expandable to 82,000). Besides the Colts, it has hosted the Super Bowl, major College Football games such as the annual Florida–Georgia game and the Gator Bowl, is one of the venues used by the United States men’s national soccer team (USMNS) major concerts such as Lynyrd Skynyrd, NSYNC and Shania Twain.
