The Los Angeles Chargers are a professional American football team in the National Football League (NFL) based in the Greater Los Angeles, CA area. The Chargers (Or Bolts) compete in the American Football Conference (AFC) West division along with the Denver Broncos, Kansas City Chiefs, and Oakland Raiders. The team plays its home games at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, CA, a temporary home until the Los Angeles Stadium at Hollywood Park opens.
Los Angeles Stadium at Hollywood Park plans to open in 2020. The stadium will be open-air and have a capacity of 70,240. Besides the Chargers, it will also be the home to the Los Angeles Rams, and plans are already under way for International FIFA soccer matches, the Super Bowl, Wrestlemania, College Football Playoff National Championship, the 2028 Olympics and more.
