The Oakland (soon to be Las Vegas) Raiders are a professional American football team in the National Football League (NFL) based in Kansas City, Missouri. The Chiefs compete in the American Football Conference (AFC) West division along with the Los Angeles Chargers, Denver Broncos, and Denver Broncos. The team plays its home games at RingCentral Coliseum in Oakland.
RingCentral Coliseum opened in 1966 as Oakland–Alameda County Coliseum and has also been known as Network Associates Coliseum, the Net, McAfee Coliseum, Overstock.com Coliseum and O.co Coliseum. The stadium is open-air and has a capacity of 56,057. Besides the Raiders, it also hosts baseball’s Oakland Athletics, major games for the San Jose Earthquakes soccer club of MLS, major concerts including Green Day, countless (well 66 actually) Grateful Dead Shows and the Rolling Stone’s famous “Live’r Than You’ll Ever Be” recording.
