The Dallas Cowboys are a professional American football team in the National Football League (NFL) based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The Cowboys (or America’s Team) compete in the National Football Conference (NFC) East division along with the New York Giants, Philadelphia Eagles, and Washington Redskins. Rivalries outside of their division include the Pittsburgh Steelers, San Francisco 49ers and Green Bay Packers. The team plays its home games at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

AT&T Stadium opened in 2009 as Cowboy Stadium. It has also been nicknamed. Jerry World, the “Death Star”, “The Palace in Dallas”, “Cowboys Cathedral”, “Jerrassic Park” among many others. The stadium has a retractable roof, with a capacity of 80,000 but is expandable to 105,000 and boasts the largest video scoreboard in all of sports. Besides the Cowboys, AT&T Stadium has already hosted scores of events. It has hosted College Football games such as the Cotton Bowl, Big 12 Championship Game, Advocare Classic, Southwest Classic. Additionally it has hosted the NCAA Basketball Final Four, Soccer games for International Soccer and the CONCACAF Gold Cup, Wrestlemania, World Championship Boxing such as Canelo Álvarez vs Liam Smith, and major concerts such as Ed Sheeran, Metallica and Paul McCartney.

Dallas boasts a thriving and diverse culinary scene. For BBQ head on over to  Pecan Lodge or Cattleack Barbeque. For Tex-Mex must have’s are Mia’s Tex-Mex for a locally beloved plate of brisket tacos or El Fenix, founded in Dallas in 1918. For other Dallas institutions go to Abacus for lobster shooters and Babe’s Chicken Dinner House for their famous fried chicken. Yeehaw!
