The Arizona Cardinals are a professional American football team in the National Football League (NFL) based in the Phoenix metropolitan area. The Cardinals compete in the National Football Conference (NFC) West division along with the the Los Angeles Rams, the San Francisco 49ers, and the Seattle Seahawks. The team plays its home games at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
State Farm Stadium opened in 2006 as Cardinals Stadium and has also been knows as University of Phoenix Stadium. The stadium has a retractable roof, with a capacity of 63,400. Besides the Cardinals, State Farm Stadium has also hosted scores of other events. It has hosted major College Football games such as the Fiesta Bowl, BCS National Championship and the College Football Playoff National Championship Game. Additionally it has hosted the Super Bowl, the NCAA Basketball Final Four, International Soccer matches such as Copa América, CONCACAF Gold Cup, WrestleMania, and major concerts such as Garth Brooks, U2 and Metallica.
Phoenix sometimes gets a bad rap for its food choices. Respectfully we’d have to disagree. If the sun doesn’t get you, these foods will make your mouth water.
