The Vegas Golden Knights are a professional ice hockey team in the National Hockey League (NHL) based in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Vegas Golden Knights compete in the Pacific Division of the Western Conference along with Edmonton Oilers, Anaheim Ducks, San Jose Sharks, Calgary Flames, Arizona Coyotes, Vancouver Canucks, and Los Angeles Kings. The Vegas Golden Knights were only recently established in 2017 but already have an intense rivalry with the San Jose Sharks after meeting in the second round of the play-offs in their first season.

The Vegas Golden Knights play their home games at the T-Mobile Arena which is located on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, which opened in 2016. It has been the only home to the Vegas Golden Knights since their establishment. The T-Mobile Arena has a capacity of 17,500 for its ice hockey matches and is now also the official home of the Ultimate Fighting Championship which hosts at least four events per year as part of a seven year deal. There have been some high profile boxing matches held at the arena too, including the famous Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Conor McGregor fight. The arena is also used for the Professional Bull Riders World Finals and the Pac-12 Conference Men’s Basketball Tournament. Music lovers can also enjoy events here such as the Iheartradio Music Festival, and concerts from the likes of Lynyrd Skynard, Phil Collins, and George Strait.
